Client Testimonial
"We started our search online for a photographer that would be perfect for our wedding. We agreed that Kevin’s style and editing matched exactly what we were looking for with our photos. After our first meeting with Kevin, we were pleased with how prompt, professional, and informative he was. He tailored a contract based on our wants and needs. Communication through a combination of email and text was clear and timely. We met for the second time for an engagement photo session. Kevin provides a guide for bride/groom how to get ready, what to wear, how to pose which is informative and at no extra cost. During the session, Kevin is keen on chasing the best light. He gives clear directions on how to pose and what looks the best at certain angles. His energy is infectious and he makes it easy to be comfortable and casual in front of the camera. Our third meeting was on our wedding day. To be expected, Kevin did a brilliant job at providing us the perfect memories for our perfect day. He captured every moment tastefully and in good time. He makes sure to create a timeline of the wedding day in order to make best use of the surroundings. Kevin is kind, thoughtful, and passionate while working. After the editing process is complete, Kevin provided the two of us links to the images in albums which are password protected and provides us with a recommended company for purchase of prints. I would recommend Kevin for capturing any of your precious moments."

Frequently Asked Questions
- What's your shooting style?
-
I love being both interactive and discrete throughout the wedding day. There will be parts of the wedding day when I will need to be in control in order to accomplish everything that needs to be done to stay on schedule. There will also be moments when you shouldn't even know that I'm around such as the ceremony, during dances and toasts, etc. I teach couples how to pose and interact during their engagement session so they are naturals on the wedding day and don't need quite as much instruction from me!
- How long have you been photographing weddings?
-
I have over 16 years of full time wedding photography experience and have shot over 300 weddings.
- Can we meet with you?
-
Absolutely! I offer free in person consultations or telephone meetings if you live out of town or for your convenience. Contact me here to schedule your meeting.
- How much time do I need for photography on my wedding day?
-
I have found that for a traditional wedding day, we need a minimum of 8 hours to capture the full story of your day with a stress-free timeline.
- We feel awkward taking posed pictures. Can you help?
-
Absolutely, I will teach you how to "pose" in less than 5 minutes in a way that will give you confidence. More importantly your "posed" pictures will be prompted, not static, so you'll look and feel natural.
- Will I get the digital files?
-
Yes, all of my wedding packages include the ready to use, high resolution digital files. You will be able to download your files from a private online gallery that can also be shared with family and friends. Additionally, reasonably priced prints from a professional lab will be available directly through your online gallery.
- Is a second professional photographer included?
-
Most of my packages include a second professional photographer.
- How many images can I expect?
-
We average 75-100 final images per hour of wedding day coverage, but this varies depending on the number of guests, types of events, hours on the dance floor, and so forth. This estimate is normally on the lower side since we tend to be over-shooters and only take out duplicate shots, eyes closed, miss fires, etc.
- Do I need an engagement session?
-
The main benefit of an engagement session, other than the pictures, is the opportunity that it will give us to work together prior to the wedding. I will instruct you on simple posing techniques and the rapport that we build will carry over to the wedding day. The pictures are also great to use as save the date cards and in your guest book. I recommend that you do your engagement session at least 6 months before the wedding if you plan use the pictures on your save the date cards.
- Do you offer albums?
-
Yes, it's my hope that your wedding pictures will be part of your legacy for generations. The albums that I offer are simple, elegant and archival, the style and workmanship are designed to stand the test of time.
- What kind of gear do you use?
-
I use Canon professional cameras and lenses. My cameras have dual card slots so there's a backup in case one of the memory cards malfunctions.
- Are you comfortable working in poor lighting conditions?
-
Yes, I favor the beautiful images that can be captured with natural lighting, but I'm well trained in the use of professional lighting equipment for days in which the weather doesn't cooperate. I also use supplemental lighting in low light situations such as reception venues and for my creative signature images.

"WOW! These photos are amazing! We've just spent the last 3 hours reliving our wedding day. Thank you for capturing so many wonderful moments that we didn't get a chance to adequately soak in the first time around. We're so glad we chose you to be our photographer. You have an incredible gift for storytelling and capturing the emotion of our wedding day, and not just documenting it. We really enjoyed working with you and your assistant Crystal. "
