Step 1: Consultation
Let’s begin by getting acquainted. I believe that learning what’s important to you is the key to capturing your wedding day authentically. Once I know the details about your wedding day I’ll help you to choose a photography package that best aligns with your vision.
Step 2: Save the Date
Once I receive your signed contract and retainer your date is officially reserved on my calendar.
Step 3: Engagement Session
The engagement session is a chance for you to get comfortable in front of the camera and for me to capture you as a couple during this important stage of your life together. These photos can be used on your save the date cards, guest book, wedding website and as reception decor. You’ll receive my engagement session guide to get you camera ready so you’ll feel confident going into your session.
Step 4: Pre-Wedding Planning
Includes a custom photography timeline, vendor recommendations and a guide to help you to get the most out of your wedding pictures.
Step 5: Wedding Day
We’ll capture your unique story and create images that will be cherished for a lifetime.
Step 6: Post-Production
Once the celebrations are over, your pictures will be professionally culled and edited with utmost care.
Step 7: Gallery Delivery
I'll make sharing your wedding photography easy through an online gallery with non-watermarked, easy to download high resolution digital images.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you travel for weddings outside of Birmingham?
Absolutely! We love capturing weddings throughout Alabama and are particularly excited about expanding into the 30A area of the Florida Panhandle. We are available for destination weddings as well.
How much editing is done to the final photographs?
I learned photography shooting film so it's natural for me to get the shot right in camera. Digital and film alike require some color correction. I edit images for natural looking skin tones and colors. I avoid trendy processing so that your pictures will remain timeless. In addition to color correction I edit out small blemishes and convert some images to black and white when appropriate. I recommend that you peruse my portfolio to be certain that you like my editing style.
What is your wedding photography price range?
While every wedding is as unique as its love story, our couples invest an average of $4000 on their wedding photography package. We'd love to hear more about your wedding vision so we can craft the perfect photography package for you."
Can we customize our wedding photography package?
Yes, absolutely! During our initial consultation, we’ll chat about your wedding plans and vision to figure out what works best for you. Your day is unique, and we’re here to make sure your photography package fits perfectly with your needs.
How will I recieve my photos?
You will be able to download your pictures from a private online gallery that can be shared with family and friends. Additionally prints and products can be ordered from a professional lab directly through your gallery.
What camera equipment do you use?
I use Canon professional mirrorless cameras and super sharp Canon RF lenses, which allows me to capture high-quality images quickly and efficiently. My cameras have dual card slots so there's a backup in case one of the memory cards malfunctions. Additionally, I use Profoto flash units when working in low light situations.
When will I receive my photos?
I typically deliver finished wedding galleries in one month.
Do you have insurance?
Yes. Let me know if your venue needs a certificate of insurance.
